July 31, 1993: Top seed Mike Aulby becomes the sixth player in PBA National Tour history to toss a perfect game on national television when he defeats David Ozio, 300-279, to win the Wichita (Kan.) Open. It was the highest scoring televised finals game in PBA history.


July 31, 1985: Bob Chamberlain downed Jim Pencak, 245-215, to capture the Hammer Open in Waukegan, Ill. It is Chamberlain's second PBA title


July 31, 1984: Brian Voss conquers three opponents, including Marshall Holman, 244-189, in the finale, to win his second PBA title at the Houston Open.
